ATMA's first AKC National Specialty 2007

ATMA's first AKC National Specialty was held at Mercer County Park in West Windsor Township, New Jersey on Friday, May 4, 2007.

Judges for the National were Olga K. Evelyn (Sweepstakes Judge) and Richard G. Beauchamp (Breed Judge). After breed judging, a parade of rescues were brought into the ring and items from Tibet were raffled to benefit Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc.

  January 10, 2007 - CH Palden Dorje v. Altnaharra (dog), and
  January 11, 2007 - CH Rinchen Dolma v. Altnaharra (bitch)

• AKC Developments as of 9/1/2006
  On April 10, 2006, the AKC Board of Directors voted unanimously to add the Tibetan Mastiff to the list of breeds eligible to compete in the Working Group as of January 1, 2007. In addition, the Tibetan Mastiff registry was moved from AKC FSS to AKC as of September 1, 2006.

• ATMA Registry
  ATMA handed over the ATMA Registry, containing almost 2,900 registered Tibetan Mastiffs, to AKC FSS at the beginning of August 2002. AKC FSS has incorporated the ATMA Registry and has mailed out AKC FSS recording certificates.
