Meet Our Club Representatives
Director: Robert Evans

I was born and lived in Colorado until 1971 when I volunteered for the Draft and spent the next two years serving our country. After my military service, I returned to Colorado and for the next five years, I worked in the construction field, attended a radio & broadcasting school, was an announcer for a local Denver radio station, went to a bible college for two years, learned to manage an Italian restaurant, and spent three months roughing it in the mountains. I kept asking myself the same question with each endeavor: do I want to do this for the next 20 - 30 years??? The answer was always no. I really enjoyed my two years with Uncle Sam, so in May 1978 I reentered the military where I proudly served for the next 20 years, 11 months, and 12 days.

Since retiring from the military in April 1999, I have been a full-time student attending a fine woodworking program at a local community college and hope to complete my training December of 2002. My goal is to begin making and selling Windsor chairs by spring of 2003.

My wife and I are proud owners of three Tibetan Mastiffs, two girls and one boy. We do not show our dogs nor do we breed, we just love them to death and spoil them more than we should. We have been members of ATMA for approximately six years. I served one year as vice-president and my wife is a former Secretary.
