I fell in love with this magnificent breed after meeting Martha Feltenstein's beautiful TMs. I got Kegger, a grandson of Pasha, at the end of 2002 and I've been a member of ATMA since then. I have three other dogs, a 17 year old Cocker Spaniel, a 6 year old Samoyed and a Great Dane puppy. Kegger was my first TM but my tenth dog (I've also had other Great Danes, Dalmatians and a Golden Retriever.)

TMs are very different from the other breeds I've had. In some ways Kegger has been the easiest of my dogs (he was not destructive as a puppy, was easily housetrained, and is very mellow around the house, never pulls on the leash when walking). But in other ways he's been the most difficult. He takes his task of guarding our home very seriously. He is also incredibly stubborn and often tests the limits to determine who's in charge. ATMA has been an invaluable resource to me as a first time TM owner. I am involved in ATMA because of the work it does educating people about the breed.

I am a real estate finance lawyer in San Francisco and live in Orinda. I went to UCLA law school, then worked in my hometown of Philadelphia for several years before moving Northern California in 1998.
